Swimming for a Cause

The Pinedale Aquatic Center hosted their first ever Swim-A-Thon this winter with all proceeds supporting Friends of PAC, a 501(c)3 non-profit that ensures supplemental funding for ongoing programs and services at PAC. Participants gathered pledges from family, friends, and local businesses to support their swimming lap goal. Over a 4 week period, these dedicated swimmers logged more than 2,000 laps and raised more than $10,300 dollars!

We are so proud to highlight swimmer Doc Foster, who individually swam 720 laps and secured more than 40 individuals and sponsors to support his goal. His efforts are a large contributor to the amazing overall success of this year's swim-a-thon. After all that swimming, Doc said “I can’t think of a better thing to do for this community. The PAC and the people that work there have done a great job.” Thank you Doc for swimming for a cause and being an amazing supporter of PAC!!

A special thank you to the following local businesses you supported Doc's fundraising goal.
