Friends of PAC ensures supplemental funding and community engagement for ongoing recreational services and facilities in support of the Pinedale Aquatic Center (PAC).
HOW WE SUPPORT PAC

ABOUT US
Friends of PAC is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to sustaining and enhancing programming, events, and public access at the Pinedale Aquatic Center (PAC). Established in 2018, we officially received our non-profit status in June 2019 and have been working ever since to support PAC’s vital role in our community.
As a volunteer-based board, we are made up of dedicated working volunteers who give their time and energy to ensure PAC continues to thrive. Through fundraising, donor engagement, and community outreach, we work to secure the resources PAC needs to serve residents and visitors alike.

ABOUT THE PINEDALE AQUATIC CENTER
Located in rural Pinedale, Wyoming, PAC is a premier all-inclusive recreation center that welcomes over 100,000 visits annually. As the hub of local recreation, PAC serves as the primary coordinator for:

Summer camps

Group & individual fitness

Senior physical activity
Built in 2008, PAC is situated on Sublette County School District #1 property and is governed by a Joint Powers Board. Its primary funding sources include a rec mil levy from SCSD#1 and membership fees.
In 2018, PAC faced a 46% revenue reduction over just four years. Since then, it has worked to diversify revenue streams and optimize operations to ensure continued services for the community. Learn more about PAC's funding, structure, and view meeting minutes here.
