The Pinedale Aquatic Center and Friends of PAC are excited to host a Community Halloween
Costume Parade! This event is in collaboration with the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce in lieu of the traditional business trick-or-treat. The Parade is scheduled for Saturday, October 31st between 3pm-5pm. The Costume Parade will allow participants the opportunity to show-off their costumes during a short walk around the Sublette Senior Center and Aspen Grove Apartments. A trick-or-treat bag will be given to each child filled with candy made possible by donations from local businesses.
This COVID safe event hits all of the key components of Halloween: Costumes, Candy,
Community, and Safety.
● Costumes: The short loop (.6 mile) is designed for all ages and is stroller and leashed-
dog friendly so the whole family can be involved in the festivities. An additional bonus
will be a self-serve photo backdrop for families to record the year’s costumes!
● Candy: Thanks to the donations and support of the Pinedale business community, the
trick-or-treat bags will be pre-filled with a standard business trick-or-treat equivalent
amount of candy.
● Community: The short .6 mile loop will start at the middle school parking area and take
participants around the Sublette Center and Aspen Grove apartments (behind
Rendezvous Pointe), giving these senior residents the opportunity to see all of the fun
and creative costumes from the safety of their own homes.
● Safety: Participants may complete the costume parade at any time between 3-5pm. The
course chosen is in a light traffic area and provides plenty of space for social distancing
during this outdoor event. COVID safety protocols will be followed while filling and
distributing the treat bags and social distancing is encouraged during the event. Not up
for a little stroll? No worries, stop by for a drive-by trick-or-treat bag hand-off from our
costumed, gloved, and masked volunteers.
