Local nonprofit Friends of PAC participated in the first ever statewide giving day, WyoGives, on July 15, and had a huge outpouring of support, raising $6,090 during the 24 hours of giving! Their goal had been $5,000. Several donors gave multiple times throughout the day, attempting to win the various challenge prizes offered to participating organizations. (Prizes included the donation closest to 3:07am, most in the first hour, etc). A total of 31 donors ponied up to help Friends of PAC earn $1,755 in matching dollars. At the state level, over $535,000 was raised to support the 130 participating nonprofits – what a day!
